On January 19, in the automatic yard of Dalian container terminal, the automatic rail crane controlled by the operator remotely successfully completed the stacking operation of a 40 foot container, which marks the official operation of the automatic transformation project of Dalian container yard.
 
As the first yard automation reconstruction project in Northeast China, Dalian Port Container automation yard reconstruction project took a year to start construction and comprehensive test, breaking through the bottleneck and problems of old electric control system reconstruction and multi system interaction, with the characteristics of high system intelligence, low cost of investment and operation, low entry threshold for operators, which can meet the requirements of all day automatic operation demand of container yard.
At present, the container automation yard of Dalian Port has accumulated more than 20000 containers, the highest efficiency of single machine has reached 27.9 containers / hour, and the efficiency of multi-type mixed operation has reached 20.9 containers / hour, all of which have exceeded the design index value, and successfully realized the production.
