On April 23, Tianjin Port Group and Shandong Port Group officially signed the framework agreement on comprehensive strategic cooperation of world-class ports in Qingdao.

The two sides will take this opportunity to give full play to their respective geographical and resource advantages, better implement the "One Belt And One Road" initiative, and accelerate the construction of world-class ports.

Tianjin port has always been the brother port of Shandong Port, under the situation affected by the epidemic, the throughput growth rate of Tianjin Port ranked the forefront of the national coastal ports.

Shandong Port bears the national strategy. At present, it has initially formed an integrated development pattern of "Taking Qingdao port as the leader, Rizhao Port and Yantai Port as the two wings, Bohai Bay Port as the support, and many inland dry ports as the extension".

The signing of the strategic cooperation framework agreement between the two ports is to take on the responsibility of "accelerating the construction of a world-class port" with practical actions, and will make greater contribution to the stability of the global industrial chain supply chain of Chinese ports.
