Huanghua port's coal handling hits monthly record in Jun sxcoal 2020-07-06 13:08


Coal handling of Huanghua port, one of major coal transfer ports in northern China, reached 18.75 million tonnes in June, exceeding 735,000 tonnes from the previous record, according to China Energy Investment Corporation (CHN Energy).
 
Huanghua Port completed 4,386 rail unloading last month, with an average daily unloading of 146.2 lines and a highest daily discharge record of 701,178 tonnes.
 
The second largest coal handling port of the country was officially started construction on December 25, 1997 and put into operation at the end of 2001.
 
Huanghua Port Co., Ltd, owner of the coal hub, was co-built by CHN Energy and Hebei Construction and Investment Group, with the former owned 70% and the latter 30%.
