Shenzhen Port's container throughput reached a new high xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2021-07-27 16:28

On July 23, Shenzhen's Ministry of Transport revealed that the epidemic prevention and control in Shenzhen Port has entered a normal stage. Since the full resumption of production at midnight on June 24, Shenzhen Port has experienced record-high container throughput and the city's foreign trade exports remain strong.
 
Data shows that since the full resumption of production and operation capacity at Yantian Port on June 24, Shenzhen Port's container throughput has maintained an increasing development trend, repeatedly exceeding the average daily throughput of the whole year of last year.
 
Among them, Yantian Port reached 44,500 TEU on July 19, reaching 121.6% of the 2020 average daily throughput.
 
So far this year, as of July 20, Shenzhen Port's container throughput has increased by 21.22% compared to the same period last year and 10.33% compared to the same period in 2019, when there was no epidemic.
