On September 7, Zhanjiang Port Group successfully obtained the port operation license of 400,000DWT bulk cargo terminal (601# berth) in Xiashan port area, marking that the 400,000DWT bulk cargo terminal of Zhanjiang Port Group was officially put into operation and further improving the comprehensive service capacity of the port.
 
Since overloading debugging on June 3, 2021, the 400,000DWT bulk cargo terminal of Zhanjiang Port has successfully unloaded four 400,000DWT VLOCs. Among the coastal ports in South China, the iron ore unloading capacity of Zhanjiang ranks first and has a rapid impact on the iron ore industry.
 
Based on a new starting point and marching towards a new journey. Zhanjiang Port Group will accelerate the construction of Zhanjiang Port's "iron ore business ecosystem", constantly strengthen the port's comprehensive service brand, and constantly strengthen the position of China Merchants' southern bulk commodities distribution center.
