Ningbo Zhoushan Port announced on April 6 that in March 2022, Ningbo Zhoushan Port completed the container throughput of 3.18 million TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 4.0%.
 
It is estimated that the cargo throughput will be 85.51 million dwt, a year-on-year decrease of 0.3%. From January to March 2022, Ningbo Zhoushan Port is expected to complete a total container throughput of 9.53 million TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 3.2%.
 
It is estimated that the accumulated cargo throughput will be 257.52 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.7%.
 
Recently, the domestic epidemic situation has been complicated and severe. Ningbo Zhoushan Port has strengthened its prevention and control measures to ensure the smooth flow of the logistics chain and supply chain.
 
According to the latest data, from April 1st to 3rd, the average daily container throughput of Ningbo Zhoushan Port exceeded 100,000 TEUs, exceeding the daily average of last year and the first quarter of this year, of which 131,000 TEUs were completed on April 2nd. It is the second highest single day this year.
