New refrigerated dangerous goods container yards in Xiamen port operated Xinde Marine News 2022-04-28 17:00

On April 22, three new refrigerated dangerous goods container yards in Xiamen port received first batch of cargo.

These three refrigerated dangerous goods container yards are located in Haitian, Songyu and International Container Terminals of Xiamen Container Terminal Group, with a total area of 25,000 square meters and an annual design capacity of more than 100,000 TEUs. Taking the leading position in domestic ports.

It is understood that goods such as photoresist, a raw material often used in the production of electronic products and integrated circuits, and lithium batteries, need to be transported by refrigerated dangerous goods containers. Previously, Xiamen port did not have the conditions for storage, so the related goods could only choose other ports or routes, which were of high cost and low efficiency.

Aimed at this shortcoming, Xiamen port Holding Group Co., Ltd. built three refrigerated dangerous goods container yards in port. Finally, the project was completed 2 months earlier than the original plan, and the overall service capacity of the port was further improved.
