Liaoning Port Opened a New Container Route in Southeast Asia Xinde Marine News 2022-07-05 11:39

On July 3rd, the "APL Cairo" berthed at Dalian Port Container Terminal for loading and unloading operations, which marked the official opening of the Vietnam-Thailand Line, a joint venture of CMA CGM, PIL and RCL at Dalian Port. So far, Dalian Port of Liaoning Port Group has opened three foreign trade container liner routes this year, and the total number of foreign trade container routes at Dalian Port has reached 88.
 
It is understood that four 2,500TEU vessels will be put into the route, Refrigerated goods such as bananas are mainly imported, Exports linked to ports such as Laem Chabang and Ho Chi Minh Port will effectively solve the shortage of major trade areas such as Vietnam and Thailand in Northeast China.
 
This route is the second national route along the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) opened by Liaoning Port Group at Dalian Port since the signing of RCEP. The opening of this route provides a new logistics channel choice and efficient and convenient services for the import and export trade of Northeast China and Southeast Asian countries, which will strongly promote the growth of regional economy and trade.
