First cooperation! Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding signed four 210,000 DWT LNG bulk carriers contract with MOL Xinde Marine News Vivian Xu 2022-08-25 15:31

Recently, CSSC Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding and China Shipbuilding Trading cooperated with Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. for the first time. The three parties jointly signed four 210,000 DWT LNG dual-fuel powered bulk carriers construction contract.
 
As the largest shipping company in Japan, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines owns the world's largest LNG fleet and dry bulk cargo fleet, leading the global shipping enterprises. Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding has built and delivered more than 100 dry bulk carriers of various types. It has achieved the highest market share of VLCCS and bulk carriers in the world.
 
The 210,000 DWT LNG dual-fuel powered bulk carrier is a new generation "green environmental protection" vessel independently developed and designed by Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding, which has better fuel and gas economy. SOx emissions were reduced by more than 90% and NOx emissions were reduced by more than 20%.
