Liaoning Port and ZIM signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement Xinde Marine News Sarah Yu 2022-11-10 15:04

On November 9, Liaoning Port Co., Ltd. And ZIM Integrated Shipping Services signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Dalian.

The two parties will establish a long-term strategic partnership based on the container and ro-ro business, comprehensively promote cooperation in multiple fields and joint development of ports and shipping.

ZIM and Liaoning Port have maintained a good cooperative relationship in many aspects. In March this year, the two sides seized the opportunity of the RCEP agreement to take effect and opened "Dalian-Australia" ocean trunk line, which filled the gap of direct routes from Dalian Port to Australia, and further enriched the trade channels for enterprises in Northeast China to Southeast Asia and Australia.

The deepening of cooperation between the two parties will actively promote the construction of Dalian Northeast Asia International Shipping Center, International Logistics Center and Northeast Sea-Land Channel, and jointly contribute to the revitalization of Northeast China and the development of foreign trade in the new era.
