Jiangnan Shipyard named two 93,000 m3 VLGCs on the same day Xinde Marine News Sarah Yu 2023-06-30 15:41

On June 29, the second ship Humorist (H2736) and the third ship Hyperion (H2737) of the 93,000 m3 VLGC series ships built for PETREDEC by Jiangnan Shipyard and China Shipbuilding Trading, were christened. Humorist will be signed and delivered on June 30.

The 93,000 m3 VLGC is the fourth generation VLGC ship type (Panda 93P) independently developed and designed by the company. The ship has a total length of 230 meters, a molded width of 36.6 meters, and a service speed of 16.5 knots.
 
There are 6 93,000 m3 VLGCs of this series built by PETRODEC in Jiangnan Shipyard. The first one was named and delivered on April 25 of this year. And all of them are planned to be delivered within this year.
