Guangzhou launches first regular direct shipping route to Brazil CCTV 2023-09-05 09:30


Guangzhou City in south China began operating its first regular direct shipping route to Brazil on Monday.

The inaugural cargo ship left the Nansha Port with 592 containers of goods, and will reach the Port of Vitoria in Brazil in two weeks.

So far this year, Guangzhou has added five shipping routes to other BRICS countries.

The city has opened 40 shipping routes to other BRICS countries, which helped enhance economic and trade cooperation among the countries.
