China to Transport More Petrol and Gasoline
 


JP Morgan says in a research report, “China’s four largest refiners - PetroChina, Sinopec, Cnooc, and Sinochem - will be allowed to ship 20 million tonnes of refined products in the first quarter of 2018, a 54% jump from a year ago.”
 
Gasoline and jet fuel export quotas saw the biggest increases, topping 75% year-on-year, to reach 6.6 million and 6.3 million tonnes, respectively, JP Morgan says.
 
Cnooc expanded the construction of a refinery on October 2017 to produce more gasoline. China has been an intermittent exporter of jet fuel to the west, which ties up vessels for longer periods.
