1. CHINA: New Inspection Regime for Yellow Fever Prevention
Chinese Quarantine Authorities Enhance Inspection for Vessels from Nigeria, Peru, Brazil (except Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Alagoas, Sergipe) In Order to Prevent Yellow Fever into China
2. China DSIC Confirms Two VLOC Order with SK Shipping
SK Shipping, a South Korean shipowner, recently confirmed that it has ordered a total of two VLOC vessels of 325,000 DWT each with DSIC cost of approximately USD 74.2 million and is expected to be delivered in March and May 2021.
3. China SWS and Foremost Group Cooperated on New shipbuilding Again
Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (SWS) signed four 210,000-ton bulk carriers new building contract with U.S. Foremost Group yesterday. It is another cooperation since the two companies hand in hand after the new shipbuilding cooperation last year.
4. COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Delivered Subsea Support Vessel N452 for Maersk
On Jan 30, the signing ceremony for delivery documentation of subsea support vessel N452 constructed by COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard for Maersk was held successfully.
