China Shipping bulletins on Mar 5,2019

1.China Ship Finance & Offshore Summit is held today at Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Pudong, Shanghai.

 

2.Several marine incidents have taken place off Ningde or Kement Port of Fujian Province in the past 15 days.  Vessels voyaging to that region are recommended to share this information and exercise enhanced vigilance when transiting or choosing to drop anchor within these waters.

 

3.The International Chamber of Shipping has chosen Hong Kong as its base for the organisation’s liaison office to China, it has been learned. As yet it appears there has not been an official announcement.

5.In the week ending Mar-1, Ningbo Containerized Freight Index (NCFI) issued by Ningbo Shipping Exchange (NBSE) quotes 624.1 points, slightly.

 

6.China's crude oil futures settled lower on Monday.The most active contract for April delivery was down 1.60% to 436.1 yuan per barrel, data from the Shanghai International Energy Exchange (INE) showed. 

 

7.Chinese iron ore prices surged nearly 5% to a three-week-peak on March 4, as market expected steel mills to replenish their stocks amid low inventory level.
