On November 23, Guangzhou Port Group and Hainan Harbor & Shipping Holding, New Golden Sea Shipping and CULines signed a "two ports and two shipping" strategic cooperation agreement.

The four sides will create a logistics supply chain channel between Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Hainan Free Trade Port, and promote the creation of a new pattern for the development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Hainan Free Trade Port.

Guangzhou Port is the departure port of the Maritime Silk Road and the main road to the sea in South China. Hainan Port is currently the only free trade port with Chinese characteristics, with sufficient policy advantages and a long history of business cooperation between the two parties.

The signing of the strategic cooperation framework agreement between the two ports is an important measure to actively connect the development opportunities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Hainan Free Trade Port, and promote in-depth cooperation in container liner routes, ro-ro passenger ship transportation, and smart green port construction.
