China's Shipyard concluded new orders for 6 tankers at Posidonia 2024 xinde marine news 2024-06-05 09:44

Guangzhou Shipyard International Co., Ltd. signed contracts for the construction of four 111,000 dwt LNG dual-fuel LR II with Eastern Pacific Shipping Pte and two 50,000 dwt methanol dual-fuel MR with Asia Pacific Shipping at Posidonia 2024, which further strengthened Guangzhou Shipyard's leading position in the dual-fuel tanker market.

These two ship types are the new generation of LNG dual-fuel LRⅡ tankers and methanol dual-fuel MR tankers independently researched and developed by Guangzhou Shipyard International Co., Ltd. Up to this point, Guangzhou Shipyard International's total orders for methanol dual-fuel and LNG dual-fuel vessels have exceeded 80 ships.
