关于SITC OSAKA碰撞事故的声明

　　尊敬的各位客户，

　　我司经营MV SITC OSAKA轮于5月4日早在日本神户港进港过程中，被NYK VENUS轮追尾擦碰，造成我轮甲板设施和部分空箱受损。船舶靠泊码头后，除个别受装卸影响的货物外，其他所有在船重箱都已卸船，并通过我司其他航线完成转运，相关安排我司已经与客户第一时间进行了沟通。

　　5月10日上午，在码头对受损空箱卸船过程中，因切割高温造成冷藏箱保温层起火，由于先前预计到可能的风险，我司及码头提前做了预防措施，所以很快控制并扑灭火势，未对船舶及其他在船集装箱造成进一步影响。10日下午，所有受损空箱都已成功卸下，并完成所有开航前检查，船舶已于当地时间19:00顺利开航。

　　有关事件的最新进展，我们的客服部门将与广大客户保持随时沟通。同时，感谢广大客户在本次事件处理中，对海丰的理解、信任和支持。

　　On 4th May 2018, M/V SITC OSAKA, operated by SITC, collided with M/V NYKVENUS at Kobe port, causing damages to SITC OSAKA’s hull and several empty containers aboard. None of any damages to loaded containers and none of personal injury/death. On the same day, after vessel berthing, SITC arranged all un-affected loaded containers transshipped with other SITC vessels/services.

　　On 10th May 2018, according to the requests from PSC and for the safe on-warding voyage, Kobe terminal conducted damaged empty containers’ discharging work.During the discharging work, there was a fire broke out on board the ship when cutting a reefer container. And the terminal confirmed the fire might came from the heat prevention material of that specific reefer container due to the cutting operation. M/V SITC OSAKA and the terminal took proper and quick actions to extinguish the fire in a very short time. During the whole fire incident, only some empty containers were affected, and the affected empty container were discharged safely and finally. None of any damages to loaded containers and none of personal injury/death.

　　After all necessary inspection, M/V SITC OSAKA departed from KOBE port at 1900 LT, on10TH May 2018.

　　All customers in concerned will be notified of the updates of this matter.
